In March 2023, the TLC star posted a delightful video on Instagram, showing her eldest daughter, Avalon, pushing one of her younger siblings in a stroller around the house. Mykelti captioned the post by saying that Avalon was already trying to babysit, which was cute, but unlikely to happen since the kids were too close in age.
In a different instance, the resident of Utah posted various videos on Instagram that depicted her children creating beautiful memories together. Mykelti expressed her amazement at how quickly her babies were growing up in an Instagram video post from April 2023. The post included footage of Avalon and the twins lounging on a blanket in the living room. She shared that being a mother is a rollercoaster ride filled with challenges, love, stress, and rewards, but she enjoys participating in all their experiences.
Mykelti’s home holds a special place in her family’s heart, as it is the same place where she gave birth to her daughter Avalon in 2021. The emotional birth was featured on the seventeenth season of Sister Wives in the fall of 2022. However, the experience was not without its difficulties for Mykelti. According to her mother Christine, Avalon’s umbilical cord was wrapped around her three or four times, making the delivery process challenging and nerve-wracking. Despite the frightening moment of losing the baby’s heartbeat, the family was eventually able to welcome Avalon into the world.
After a frightening start, Mykelti managed to deliver Avalon with Christine’s assistance.
