A shelter attempted to find a home for a blind kitten with advanced glaucoma, but unfortunately, no one was interested in adopting such a unique feline. By chance, Maria stumbled upon an advertisement for this special kitten and decided to give him a chance at a happy life. The shelter had been struggling to find anyone willing to take on the responsibility of caring for a blind animal.

The kitten caught the attention of the girl and she felt compelled to assist in any way possible. She brought the little one to the animal hospital and the vets diagnosed it with a congenital blindness.

According to Maria, the kitten’s right eye couldn’t be saved as it had suffered from severe glaucoma due to the neglect of its previous owners. The surgeons had to operate on it and remove the eye. Right from the start, Thomas made it clear who was in charge of the household. He’s not shy about meowing loudly, and when mealtime arrives, he’ll hop onto his owner’s lap and beg relentlessly for dinner until he’s fed.

Thomas lives his life as a healthy and carefree cat, without any concern for his blindness. Despite his lack of vision, he navigates his surroundings with ease and enjoys playing with toys and catching objects mid-air. He also uses a scratching post to maintain balance and control.

As Thomas grew into a cat, his owners were constantly surprised by his amazing abilities. Despite all the challenges he faced, this incredible feline never lost hope and eventually found true happiness.
