For a prolonged period, Gus roamed the rainy and chilly streets of Texas, USA, before S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast, a non-profit group dedicated to saving animals, came to his rescue. Gus had to travel from Texas to New York to find relief.

The volunteers of the association were faced with a unique situation when they took on Gus’ case. Living on the streets had taken its toll on his health, causing a cancerous growth near one of his eyes.
