Despite the distressing situation, the girls persevered in their efforts to help the cat. Transporting the animal was not an option, as it was too sick, agitated, and frightened. Consequently, a local veterinarian was called to attend to the cat in its home environment. After conducting a thorough examination, the vet determined that surgery was necessary, and swift action was required. As a result, the procedure was conducted on-site.
