Zhuzha, a stray dog seen wandering around the streets with a noticeable limp and a swollen belly caught the attention of Love Furry Friends rescuers. Recognizing the dire need for immediate medical help, the team sprang into action to provide the much-needed assistance. One of the women from the rescue team approached a passerby in hopes of gathering information about the distressed pup.

Much to their amazement, the person walking by disclosed that Zhuzha had already undergone spaying, which eliminated the chance of her being pregnant.

Upon inspecting Zhuzha’s ear tag, it was evident that she had taken part in the city’s spay/neuter initiative. However, her excessively enlarged belly raised some questions. Check out the video below for more information.

The size of her hindrance was so immense that Zhuzha couldn’t walk without feeling uncomfortable. With a pitiful look in her eyes, she gazed up at the compassionate woman, hoping for some assistance.

Zhuzha was rushed to the vet as soon as possible and it was discovered that her enlarged stomach was due to a heart condition that caused build-up of fluid in her belly. It was crucial to act immediately and alleviate the pressure. Fortunately, the procedure was successful and Zhuzha was relieved of her discomfort.

After a couple of days had passed, the person who had saved Zhuzha’s life dropped by to see how she was doing. Zhuzha was overjoyed and eagerly gobbled up a tasty treat, enjoying some quality time with her rescuer. Witnessing this heartwarming moment was truly uplifting. Zhuzha is now eagerly looking forward to finding a loving and secure forever home where she can receive the care and affection she deserves. Check out the video to see her in action!
