A Mother Dog’s Determined Journey to Feed Her Puppies: Walking 3 km Daily

A mama dog had to cover a distance of three kilometers every day just to feed her 10 little pups. Fortunately, she has been saved and her adorable offspring will soon find new homes to be taken care of.

Residents of Fowler, Fresno, California, were concerned about a mother dog who was seen walking 2 miles every day to find food for her newborn puppies. Krystle Woodward, the founder of Pinky Paws ResQ, discovered that the dog had been spotted wandering around the neighborhood searching for sustenance for her litter. Although Krystle had heard about the dog previously, it took almost two months before she could rescue Betty Boop and her ten pups. Finally, on Thursday, Krystle was able to intervene and change their lives for the better.

Krystle shared on the foundation’s Facebook page that she had a delightful surprise during her work break when she stumbled upon Betty Boop. Unfortunately, Betty Boop scurried away when Krystle noticed her. However, Krystle’s husband came to the rescue by quickly driving their van to retrieve Betty Boop while Krystle was on her lunch break last Thursday.

A mother dog had to travel a distance of 3 kilometers every day to find food for her newborn puppies. According to reports, around 30 people have witnessed the dog scouring the outskirts of the town in search of nourishment for her young ones. The owner of the dog was worried about the dog’s health and took her to the vet after work. The owner was crying all night after hearing that the dog was still breastfeeding, as she was concerned about the puppies starving to death. On one occasion, the dog tried to escape by running outdoors and climbing the fence, displaying how desperate she was to return to her offspring. Now, Krystle is searching for Betty Boop’s puppies.

YourCentralValley reported that a group of ten puppies were found in the basement of an abandoned property. The rescue mission was led by Krystle’s friend’s son, who enlisted the help of elementary school student Kenneth Stoen. These healthy puppies have been given unique names such as Amber, Citrine, Copper, Jade, Jasper, Onyx, Opal, Pearl, Rubyloo, and Sage. Stoen expressed gratitude for the trust shown by the mother dog in leading him to her babies, stating that it touched his heart and made him adore them even more.
