However, there are instances where animals take matters into their own paws, regardless of human consent. This was the case for Baby Mars, a tiny kitten who was fostered by a family under the promise of finding him a permanent home once he was old enough. Little did they know that the kitten had already chosen them as his forever family and would not take no for an answer.
A group of volunteers in Montreal, Canada rescued a litter of one-week-old kittens and brought them to a shelter. However, one kitten stood out as significantly less healthy than the others. This ginger kitten was smaller in size and required constant nourishment. Fortunately, a skilled rescuer named Jess stepped in to help. She brought the kitten home, provided him with tube feeding, kept him warm and remained by his side throughout the day.
Uncertainty surrounded the fate of the little one, but the strong-willed animal refused to surrender. After a multitude of sleepless nights and some arduous work, the kitty overcame its initial struggles and began to show signs of recovery.

As time went by, the little feline regained his strength and seemed eager to start searching for his forever home. A kind-hearted lady named Coralie decided to provide him with a loving foster home where he could get to know her other cats before finding a permanent family.
However, Baby Mars had different plans in mind. Coralie and he had only communicated during the feline’s love affair. He chased after her, snuggled up to her, and even got into cat fights with other felines just to get her attention. With his cute meows and big eyes, he could easily persuade anyone. Whenever he wanted to be cuddled, he would patiently wait and observe his human companion.
The little kitten named Mars had already captured the hearts of its new family without them even realizing it. Even though Coralie knew that she couldn’t keep him, Mars had already made his decision to stay with them. At three months old, he was officially adopted by his loving family who believe that their home is the best place for him. Celine expressed her happiness and satisfaction with the adoption.
