Al Hilal are waiting for Joao Cancelo to accept a move to Saudi Arabia after reaching a broad agreement with Manchester City for the full back.
City are believed to be recouping in the region of £30million should a deal go through for the Portuguese, who hasn’t featured for the club since a disagreement with Pep Guardiola over game time 18 months ago.
Cancelo has since had loan spells at Bayern Munich and Barcelona. He is currently training with the Premier League champions but left out of their two matchday squads this season.
It’s understood Al Hilal have held positive talks with City over the past week after whittling down their shortlist in that area of the pitch to the Portuguese, teammate Kyle Walker and Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong.
Barcelona remain a possibility for the 30-year-old, who enjoyed his time in Catalonia last term, although any offer is likely be in the form of another loan.

Al Hilal’s current right back, Saud Abdulhamid, is on his way to Roma – as Mail Sport reported last week.
Cancelo is thought to have been offered a £18million-a-year contract to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League and link up with the likes of Neymar and Ruben Neves in Riyadh.
