The remaining time of the match witnessed a tug of war between the two teams, with many other players being brought on to test tactics. In the end, Man City drew 2-2 with Barca after 90 minutes of play.

After that, the two sides entered the penalty shootout. With impressive finishing skills, Barca won 4-1 against the reigning Premier League champions.

This result can be considered satisfactory on the debut day of coach Hansi Flick at Barcelona. As for Man City, they had their third consecutive friendly defeat.
